User Experience (UX) is one of the crucial parameters when it comes to measuring success and strengths of business software. End users in your organisation, your own peers who are going to run process on selected software, need to feel confident and comfortable at the same time when they are using various features of business suite. Additionally, your external business partners (vendors) should be supported equally on new suite as they are recipients of the outcome of your internal processes and have equal say to run the process effectively. Market research firm “Forrester Research” has consolidated Source-to-Contract contenders and have analysed their offerings on different parameters. Zycus, Ivalua, Coupa and GEP have scored better than SAP Ariba on leadership table. Surprisingly, SAP Ariba has scored lowest on usability and vendor support references. Forrester’s analysis further informs about SAP Ariba’s strong background and technology in developing S2C suite but also highlights on “its lack of focus, weakness in execution, and a market approach that depends too heavily on sales into the SAP client base”.

Forrester research confirms our findings and questions Ariba’s usability, vendor support.
